Together with Deutsche Börse Venture Network, Raue will host a Community Workshop on 11 April 2019, starting at 5:30 pm. The workshop is focusing on the topic „Financing Rounds: Term Sheet Negotiations“.
This workshop will provide startups with first-hand insights from Dr. Jörg Jaecks, lawyer and partner of Raue, on how to negotiate a term sheet in a financing round in the interest of founder versus the interest of investor. The workshop will cover all relevant topics and will include amongst others:
- Cap table basics
- Convertible loans
- Vesting call options, liquidation preferences, down-round protection, drag-along rights
- VSOP
At the same time, the founders are invited to connect with other members of the Deutsche Börse Venture Network as well as with further lawyers of Raue in a relaxed and informal setting with food and drinks.
