The law firm Raue advised KRW Schindler Investments SA and Outdoor Secondary Investors SCS on the successful sale of the German route planning start-up komoot to Bending Spoons. Raue supported the two venture capital funds which held the largest stake outside the group of founders, in planning, structuring and executing the transaction.
Founded in Potsdam, komoot has since its inception in 2010 established itself as a leading route planner, navigation app, tour directory, and social network for outdoor activities.
Since 2013 Raue has been advising KRW Schindler Investments on various transactions. Raue also advised Outdoor Secondary Investors SCS on its investment in komoot in 2020. The VC team, led by Prof. Dr. Andreas Nelle, was closely involved in the exit negotiations and supported the transaction through to its successful completion.
