Raue has advised TOBIS, one of Germany’s leading independent production companies and film distributors, on the formation of a joint venture with LEGENDARY Entertainment, an American film studio.
The intended purpose of the collaboration is the production and distribution of German-language series content. TOBIS will take the operational lead locally, while LEGENDARY will drive the distribution of all content created by the joint venture outside German-speaking Europe. Currently, more than 10 projects are already in development.
Raue provided lead and comprehensive advice to TOBIS on all aspects of the formation of the joint venture, in particular on the corporate and antitrust aspects of the project.
