Raue Advises Visualix on Sale of Augmented Reality Technology to Inpixon

Raue has advised Berlin-based startup Visualix on the sale of its computer vision, localization, navigation, mapping, and 3D reconstruction technologies to Nasdaq-listed technology company Inpixon, Palo Alto, California. The technology uses a smartphone’s camera and on-board sensors to create 3D models of indoor spaces. The transaction includes the purchase of patents, trademarks, software and related intellectual property. The purchase price was largely paid by shares in Inpixon.

Visualix was initially set up by Future Energy Ventures, a former part of innogy, which now belongs to the E.ON Group, based in Essen. In the course of the transaction, some patents were sold directly by Future Energy Ventures.
