Raue advised an investor who had participated in various investment rounds in in artificial intelligence (AI) start-up Twenty Billion Neurons (TwentyBN) on the sale of TwentyBN to NASDAQ-listed Qualcomm, Inc.
TwentyBN is an AI start-up founded in Berlin in 2015 with a subsidiary in Toronto, Canada. The company develops intelligent avatars that can see, hear and understand people, redefining the way AI interacts with humans. The technologies developed by TwentyBN are widely used, particularly by AI researchers. Qualcomm’s acquisition of TwentyBN strengthens its AI research and development capabilities.
Raue comprehensively advised the investor of TwentyBN on the sale of the company to Qualcomm, in particular on corporate, IP and employment law aspects of the transaction.
