FinTech start-up N26 from Berlin received $ 160 million in capital in a third financing round. Allianz X, the digital arm of the Allianz Group, and Tencent Holdings GmbH of China are among the new investors. Raue LLP has advised existing investor Earlybird Venture Capital.
N26 is one of the leading providers of mobile banking. Since its launch in 2015, the company has acquired more than 850,000 customers in 17 European countries by its own accounts. Overall, N26 has so far raised $ 215 million from investors, including Allianz X, Horizons Ventures, Valar Ventures, Earlybird Venture Capital, and others. Raue LLP advised Earlybird Venture Capital in the previous 2015 and 2016 financing rounds.
