Raue advises Schaeffler on participation in financing round of NEURA Robotics

Raue has advised the Schaeffler Group on its participation in the Series C financing round of NEURA Robotics. During the financing round, the robotics company received commitments of up to USD 1.4 billion. The round is among the largest financings in the European robotics sector.

Schaeffler is one of the investors in the financing round and is already a technology partner of NEURA Robotics. With this investment, the company is further expanding its activities in the field of robotics and automation.

NEURA Robotics, headquartered in Metzingen, develops cognitive and humanoid robots as well as the required AI and software infrastructure. In addition to Schaeffler, the investors in the financing round include other international technology and industrial companies as well as financial investors.

Raue advised Schaeffler on all legal aspects of the investment.

Raue team: Lead advisors were Partner Dr Nadine Hartung and partner Prof Dr Andreas Nelle (both Corporate). The team further included Senior Associates Dr Emilia Blume (Employment), Hinnerk Clausen (Corporate), Dr Aron Heidtke (IP) and Associate Daniel Reinhardt (Corporate).

Schaeffler team: Project lead at Schaeffler was Christopher Kuhn (Corporate Investment Management), who managed the investment together with Daniel Bätz (General Legal Counsel M&A and Investments) and Dr Maria Ann Boerner (Senior Legal Counsel M&A and Investments).
