Legal 500 Germany has honoured Raue partner Prof Dr Jan Hegemann as Technology and Media Lawyer of the Year. The recognition was part of the Legal 500 Germany Awards, which took place for the second time last week.
Jan Hegemann advises publishers, media companies and producers of documentaries and feature films, TV movies and TV series, as well as private individuals, on press law and freedom of expression, copyright and publishing law. A particular focus of his work is representing companies and publishers in connection with their rights in digital media. Prof. Dr. Jan Hegemann is one of the best-known German media lawyers and is regularly involved in landmark cases and mandates.
