Legal 500 Germany presented the Legal 500 Germany Awards for the first time this year. Raue lawyer Lisa Schopp was honored with the Rising Star of the Year: Tech & Media award.
The award is presented to lawyers who stand out for their outstanding expertise, their innovative advice and their contribution to the further development of their field and who are leaders in Germany. The award also underlines the fact that Raue is one of the leading German commercial law firms in media law.
Lisa Schopp advises on press law, media law, copyright and trademark law. She focuses in particular on representing publishing houses and film production companies. Lisa Schopp is also a member of the djb’s Digital Commission, in which she provides legal support for national and European legislation on the protection of privacy on the internet.
The winners are selected on the basis of The Legal 500’s thorough and independent research work for the annual handbook The Legal 500 Germany. The selection of the winners for the Legal 500 Germany Awards 2024 is carried out by a jury of experts. This team is headed by the Research Director for The Legal 500 Germany, Ms. Anna Bauböck, and the editor Ms. Kathrin Zuser. The ceremony for the Legal 500 Germany Awards 2024 took place on February 16, 2024, in Frankfurt am Main.
