Raue Braeuer Kuhla<\/h2>\n

By joining forces under the name Raue Braeuer Kuhla<\/strong>, partners\u00a0Peter Raue, Max Braeuer, and Wolfgang Kuhla take an important step towards establishing a full service corporate law firm, advising institutional and corporate clients in such fields as corporate law, real estate law, and labor law.<\/p>\n

Until today, the founders Peter Raue and Wolfgang Kuhla are still working in our law firm and can thus look back on a fruitful collaboration spanning thirty five years.<\/p>\n

BODEN OPPENHOFF RASOR RAUE<\/h2>\n

The Bundesgerichtshof (Federal Court of Justice) rules that the establishment of integrated law firms<\/strong> with multiple offices across Germany is now possible. The Berlin-based partners of Raue Braeuer Kuhla decide to merge with leading law firms in Cologne and Frankfurt with which they have worked together successfully in the past. The new firm Boden Oppenhoff Rasor Raue, with over hundred\u00a0attorneys, becomes one of the biggest law firms in Germany at the time.<\/p>\n

Oppenhoff & R\u00e4dler<\/h2>\n

The desire to integrate corporate law and tax law advice<\/strong> is the driver behind the merger of Boden Oppenhoff Rasor Raue with R\u00e4dler Raupach Bezzenberger, forming the new law firm of Oppenhoff & R\u00e4dler. More than seventy\u00a0attorneys work at the new firm\u2019s Berlin office, making it the largest law office in Berlin.<\/p>\n

HOGAN & HARTSON RAUE LLP<\/h2>\n

When Oppenhoff & R\u00e4dler merges with the bitish law firm Linklaters<\/strong>, a majority of partners of ther former Berlin Site decide to reach out across the Atlantic instead, merging with the US law firm Hogan & Hartson LLP. Hogan & Hartson Raue LLP serves its clients from offices in Berlin and later also from Munich.<\/p>\n

Raue LLP<\/h2>\n

Facing the mega-merger between Hogan & Hartson and Lovells<\/strong>, twenty partners, along with many associates, opt for independence and establish Raue LLP \u2013 one of the largest spin-offs in the history of the German legal industry.<\/p>\n

The establishment of Raue LLP is based on the partners\u2019 conviction that a flexible, medium-sized organization is the best platform for serving their clients\u2019 interests.<\/p>\n

In the wake of the United Kingdom\u2019s withdrawal from the European Union<\/strong>, the Raue partners decide to continue their practice in a partnership with limited professional liability under German law.<\/p>\n
