Raue has provided legal support to the project “Impact” – the first crowdfunding project to fight climate change of the enyway GmbH. enyway brokers the investment of the Merica Holdings Pte. Ltd. via enyway’s crowdinvesting platform.
Investors may participate in the crowdfunding project with an investment starting with 50 Euro. The goal of the project is to invest the funds in the reforestation of the Borneo rainforest and to generate surpluses through sustainable forestry. The public offering was launched this week.
enyway was founded in 2017 and is one of the first companies to enable consumers to purchase renewable electricity directly from electricity producers. In 2019, enyway implemented the “Change” project – the first crowdfinanced solar plant in Germany that produces green electricity without any use of state subsidies.
Raue advised enyway on all contractual and financial regulatory aspects of the “Impact” project. In 2017 the law firm advised enyway on the foundation of the company and provided legal support for the “Change” project.
