Raue advises Caeli Wind on establishing its online marketplace for wind power sites

Today, first auctions have started on “Caeli”, Germany’s first online marketplace for wind power sites. The Berlin-based start-up Caeli Wind was comprehensively advised by Raue on the foundation of its online marketplace for the marketing of wind power areas.

Caeli Wind is a cloud-based, intelligent platform that identifies wind potential areas and enables rapid go to market strategies. It uses precise analyses with the aim of significantly increasing the implementation probability of project development. Owners of forest and agricultural land can conduct an initial potential analysis for their land themselves on the online platform. Caeli Wind’s marketplace is independent and neutral and was awarded 1st place at the “Spreewind PitchNight 2022” during the Wind Energy Days.

The innovative online marketplace for wind energy areas is not only intended to create transparency and liquidity in the market for wind power areas, but also to accelerate processes. It includes very different completely automated, AI-based site planning tools up to a neutral concession contract developed by Raue, which accompanies all site tenders. To date, Caeli Wind has 47 sites with a potential of 2 gigawatts of wind power on its platform, mostly forest land. “We have been working with Raue for many years and appreciate their high level of energy expertise,” Heiko Bartels, founder of Caeli Wind.
