The international technology group Körber has invested in a B-financing round in Berlin-based technology company BigRep. Raue LLP advised BigRep on the investment.
By investing in BigRep Körber is growing in the segment of additive production. The company plans to use the capabilities of this innovative technology for additional customer applications within its own fields of business.
BigRep designs and produces the world’s largest serially produced 3D printer and is a supplier of additive manufacturing systems. Founded in 2014, the tech startup has since grown to over 60 employees. BigRep is headquartered in Berlin-Kreuzberg with offices in New York and Singapore. Körber is an international technology group with approximately 11,500 employees and 130 production, service and sales companies worldwide. In 2016, the Körber Group generated sales of 2.2 billion euros.
Earlier this year, Raue LLP has advised BigRep on the investment by Klöckner & Co.
