Raue LLP has advised private equity firm Paragon Partners on its acquisition of the operating business of PAVIS e.G. The Company, now operating under the name of PAVIS GmbH is headquartered in Starnberg, Germany and generates sales of more than 120 million Euro. Paragon Partners will invest significantly into the continued expansion of the business and will further strengthen the organisation.
Founded in 1980, PAVIS is a leading global provider of value-add Intellectual Property (IP) services. Initially established as a cooperative of patent lawyers, PAVIS today serves a broad base of corporate customers and IP law firms.
Munich-based Paragon Partners is an independent private equity company with more than 650 million Euro of equity capital under management. Paragon Partners invests in established, mid-sized companies with significant operational value creation potential.
Raue LLP has been advising Paragon Partners on a regular basis on sales and acquisitions, including the acquisition of dtms Telefon- und Marketing Services GmbH (2014), sale of ZGS Bildungs GmbH (Schülerhilfe) to Deutsche Beteiligungs AG (2013) and acquisition of Wer liefert Was? GmbH (2012).
